Air Abrasion- Also called Micro abrasion and kinetic prepartation, is method of tooth structure removal considered to be an effective alternative to the standard dental drill. It functions much like the sandblasting technique used to clear graffiti from wall. An Air Abrasion hand piece blows a powerful air stream of tiny, fine aluminum oxide particles out of its tips onto tooth structure. This procedure is virtually painless, which, in most cases, eliminates the need for an anesthetic injection. The advantages are more of your tooth is preserved, there is little or no discomfort, no anesthetic numbness is needed and treatment time is usually shorter.

The Wand (Pain-Free Anesthetic Delivery)- It is true about 50% of patients are fearful of anesthetic syringes and get nervous at the mere sight of needle. Most of the discomfort in dental shot is from the feeling of pressure created by the flow of anesthetic. And that it is why our office performs anesthetic injections with a revolutionary system called The Wand. The wand is an excellent example for our efforts to bring you the latest dental technology, and help all of our patients to have a pleasant, positive visit to our office. The Wand is a computer controlled “Novocain” delivery system that conquers fear of pain and anxiety.

Endodontic Rotary Hand piece- Rotary Hand piece is ergonomically designed with low speed electric speed that locates the apex of the root and file the canal. This technology delivers extreme accuracy and reliability when root canal is performed. The unit comes with LCD screen to allow the doctor to visualize file movement during instrumentation and various speed settings. The variable speeds allow the unit to be used for a wide variety of general and endodontic procedures.

Intra-Oral TV Camera- One of the most advanced techniques for diagnosing a patient’s oral problems is a new technology utilizing a miniature intra-oral TV camera. The images projected onto the TV monitor allow the dentist to magnify the patient’s teeth up to 20 times, thereby greatly enhancing his ability to see problems and than recommended treatment at the earliest and most preventable stages.

Digital X-Rays – Digital x-rays require 75% less radiation than conventional film x-rays.  They also produce a larger image, which makes it easier for patients to see and understand treatment.
